Black Hawk Down - Prop AK-47 Rifle

A prop rifle used in the 2001 war movie "Black Hawk Down" starring: Josh Hartnett, Ewan McGregor, Tom Sizemore & Eric Bana.

This prop stunt AK-47 rifle was used by one of the Somali soldiers seen in the film. Its constructed from a hard rubber material and the casting is very detailed showing the original makers marks from the gun it was cast from, it retains the trigger and cocking handle that are typically pieces broken off during filming, the stock is made from a soft foam rubber, and has been hand painted to make the wood sections appear real. It measures: 880mm x 250mm x 70mm (33.4" x 9.8" x 2.7").
