Gangs of New York - Harpers Weekly Prop Newspaper

A prop newspaper used in the 2002 movie "The Gangs of New York" starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis & Cameron Diaz.

This prop Harpers Weekly was used as set dressing in the movie, it contains four pages containing various articles and adverts along with images, one of the article can clearly be seen on Bill The Butcher's meat table when  Amsterdam & McGloin fight, the article seen is about the sinking of the Iron-Clad "Keokuk" at the battle of Charleston, several Harper's newspapers can be seen dressing other tables. It measures: 393mm x 295mm (15.4" x 11.6").
