The Pacific - Prop USMC Corpsman Bolo Knife

A prop USMC Corpsman bolo knife & sheath used in the 2010 TV series 'The Pacific' starring: James Badge Dale, Rami Malek, Jon Seda & Joseph Mazzello.

This prop was cast from an original USMC Corpsman knife and sheath and is a static one piece item, it's made from dense rubber that is supported internally with metal to keep its rigid shape, this casting process is so accurate you can make out the sheaths stitching and rivets and sheath maker (Boyt 1945), it was hand painted by the master armorer from the show to make the item appear real, and has a metal double hook hanger on the back to attach to webbing. Measures: 440mm x 90mm x 40mm (17.3" x 3.5" x 1.5").
