Star Wars - Han Solo "Greedo Killer" Metal DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol

A stunning built & painted metal replica of Han Solo's DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope. This was the variant of blaster used by Han in the cantina in the confrontation shoot-out scene with Greedo. Nicknamed the "Greedo Killer" as it was used for just this scene, and made an appearance in a few publicity/promo shoots. This excellent replica was made using the body of a Denix metal replica M96 pistol, the barrel has been slightly cut back to accommodate the M9 grease gun aluminum flash hider at the front, the scope and mounting arm are also made from metal, with metal cooling fins to front. The gun can cock and dry fire. This blaster has wooden handles and has been painted and finished to a high standard with some light weathering to the high spots. Being a metal replica it has a very nice weighty solid feel to it. It measures: 355mm x 200mm x 75mm (13.9" x 7.8" x 2.9") at the widest points. Weighs 1.5kg. It comes supplied with a custom acrylic case and plaque. Case has an upper protective lid and the base has a mirrored finish and display mounting arms. Case measures: 375mm x 170mm x 240mm (14.7" x 6.6" x 9.4").
