A prop M3 Grease gun used in the 2014 movie "Fury" starring: Brad Pitt & Shia LaBeouf.

The US Army M3 submachine gun known as the ‘Grease Gun/The Greaser’ was introduced in 1942 during the Second World War, and was a typical armament for tank crews and truck drivers thanks to its lightweight design and ease of use.

This prop M3 was created specifically for Fury and is a stunt version made mostly from very tough dense rubber that has internal metal supports to retain rigidity, thanks to modern prop making techniques the rubber used is very good at retaining small details like original serial numbers. The gun has a metal wire stock that is fixed in place and an excellent hand painted finish to make it appear like metal, and has an orange plaze plug attached to the end of the barrel. It measures: 565mm x 300mm x 65mm (22.2” x 11.8” x 2.5”).

These prop M3 guns can be seen in various scenes and was also the same as the main gun used by Norman Ellison.

This item comes supplied with a COA (Certificate of Authenticity).
