The Avengers (1961–69) - Production Used Contact Sheets

A set of contact sheets used in the making of the (1961-1969) classic TV show “The Avengers” starring: Patrick Macnee & Diana Rigg.

This contact sheet set was made by the on-set photographer during the making of the show and contains a total of six sheets with various 35mm black and white stills taken during filming.

Attached to the contact sheets is two A4 notes by a mechanical typewriter, the first page of the notes include the shows name and the title of the episode “A funny thing happened on the way to the station” that originally aired in 1967. Each 35mm still has been mentioned on the notes and the pictures include various scenes showing Diana Rigg, the ticket collector James Hayter, the groom Drewe Henley, Crewe – John Laurie, the bride Isla Blair.

There are a total of 122 35mm stills showing various scenes in the episode along with behind the scenes shots and candid shots. A very rare collectable for the Avengers fan!
