A prop helmet used in the 1998 multi-award winning film "Saving Private Ryan" starring: Tom Hanks, Tom Sizemore, Vin Diesel & Matt Damon.

The helmet was used in the Omaha Beach landing scenes.

This prop metal M1 helmet features the circular ying-yang white & blue symbol on the front, and comes with the correct walnut helmet liner, the helmet has been painted with the distinctive mottled green paint effect seen on all the helmets.

The helmet is in a typical condition for being used in the Omaha Beach scenes and has some rust inside the helmet and has a slight split in the left hand side. Inside the helmet you can just make out the U.S. ACAD stamp (Academy Costumes Stamp).
