Braveheart – Scottish Cleaver Falchion

A prop falchion used in the 1995 movie "Braveheart" starring: Mel Gibson, Sophie Marceau & Patrick McGoohan.

This prop sword known as a cleaver falchion was used by one of the Scottish warriors, and can clearly be seen being used throughout the film.

This cleaver falchion is made from dense black rubber that has a metal support rod inside for rigidity, they were used specifically for the fight scenes, with signs of brown paint on the handle to resemble wood, and silver paint on the blade to appear metal.

It measures: 810mm x 115mm x 50mm (31.8" x 4.5" x 1.9").
