Thunderbirds (2004) - Prop Tool

A prop tool made for use in the 2004 movie “Thunderbirds” starring: Bill Paxton, Sophia Myles & Brady Corbet.

This prop tool was made for most probably by one of the main characters, it’s a hero working prop that would have been specifically made for use in a particular scene, unfortunately the prop is never seen in the final cut of the film.

The prop features a micro switch on the trigger that when pressed activates a series of blue LED lights, a total a 26 LED’s are visible in two sections, the path of the LED’s start at the back and slowly work their way to the front, this sequence last several seconds, because of the speed of the LED’s we believe this prop is a type of laser or cutting tool/welder. In the handle of the prop is where the battery is located for the LED’s.

The prop measures: 19 x 17 x 7 cm (7½” x 6¾” x 2¾”) at the widest points.
